Coming up on a year in a month since I've relocated from the Midwest to the East Coast. Wow, time sure does fly. The biggest adjustment has been getting used to the hectic traffic and long rides. I'm slowly starting to dread the drive into center city. Don't get me wrong -- I love Philly and I especially love the city life but can't I can't deal with the traffic and the thought of taking the train anywhere blows my mind. I would be lying if I told you that public transportation was a thing in the Midwest --

Am I afraid?

I'll admit that it intimidates me a bit to hop on a bus or train and be on my way but I'm slowly learning to give in. The perks of public transportation or endless on the East Coast and much more beneficial. Whether one is traveling from city to city or just around the corner, it's sure to get you there.

So yes, a year ago -- "I wouldn't dare" would have been my first words when asked to take the train or bus but now, I'm forcing myself to reply "What time should I be ready!"
